Hello! I’m Sandra Levine, a filmmaker and speaker, born and raised at the Jersey Shore. My blog, “Still Time for Joy”, will be expanding in 2024, as I launch my new podcast. We’ll explore simple ways to create a happier life, especially after hard times. You’ll meet heroes and healers, adventurers and innovators, who will inspire you to reconnect to your own unique and joyful purpose.
People often tell me the stories I’ve shared during two decades of caregiving have given them hope as they’ve faced their own challenges. My husband suffered a horrific neurological illness when our daughter was an infant; his recovery—while remarkable—has been long and hard. My beloved mother was devastated by Alzheimer’s disease during 10 harrowing years, filled with gut-wrenching decisions for the family, right up until the day she passed away.
Regaining your footing after a crisis takes time and effort. Together, our journey will lead us down a healthier path: more self-care, reflection, connection, and fun. You will be reminded of your own inner strength and resilience, and motivated to fully embrace a meaningful life, where there’s “Still Time for Joy”.

I’m originally from NJ so that makes us family! Hope all goes well with the new blog.
Thank you, Jennifer! Good luck to you, too!
You blog hits me where I live. One aspect of my blog if I ever get started will be about my journey with my disabled husband. He has many physical problems as well as dementia. I know how much support and knowing you are not alone matters. I will follow you. Liked what I saw so far.
Thank you, Bess! Caregiving for a spouse comes with its own unique set of challenges and heartaches. Thankfully, my husband is doing well now. Good luck to you.
